Where Airalo is the better choice

Wider coverage — 200+ locations against our 170+, which matters if you are going somewhere unusual.
A far larger catalogue of regional and country bundles, and a mature app with a long track record.
You can pay by card. Our eSIMs are cryptocurrency only, which is a genuine barrier if you hold none — Airalo takes cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Where we differ

Nothing to sign up for. No account, no email, no password — losing the ICCID and PIN is the trade-off, and we say so plainly.
Cryptocurrency at checkout, so the payment step does not re-attach your name to a purchase made without one.
We also sell the device: a Pixel running privacy-hardened Android, which is the other half of the problem an eSIM alone does not solve.

Which should you pick?

If you want the widest possible coverage and do not mind holding an account, Airalo is a reasonable choice and we would not pretend otherwise. They cover more places than we do.

The reason to choose us is if you would rather not create an account at all, or want to pay in a way that does not carry your name. That is a narrower requirement than Airalo is built for, and it is the one we are built for.

Airalo questions

Does Airalo require ID to buy an eSIM?

Airalo does not ask for an identity document, but it does require an Airalo account with an email address, which is created before purchase. NordSecure requires neither — you receive an ICCID and a PIN and there is no account behind them.

Can I pay Airalo in cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency is not listed among Airalo's accepted payment methods, which are cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and their own Airmoney credit. Our eSIMs are the reverse: cryptocurrency only, with cards accepted on the privacy phone alone.

Which has better coverage?

Airalo does. They advertise 200+ locations against our 170+. If your destination is unusual, check both before you buy — we would rather you got connectivity that works than made a point of buying from us.

Is Airalo cheaper?

It depends entirely on the destination and bundle size, and both catalogues change often. Compare the specific country and data amount you actually need rather than the headline starting price, which is usually a small bundle in a cheap market.
