Private phones, without the PhD

NordSecure makes genuinely private smartphones approachable — for people who value their privacy but don't want to become security engineers to have it.

Most phones are built around a simple trade: convenience in exchange for a constant, quiet stream of data about your life. For most people that trade is invisible — and effectively non-negotiable.

We started NordSecure because the tools to opt out already exist and are excellent, but they sit behind a wall of technical setup that keeps ordinary people out. Flashing a phone, hardening it, and re-locking verified boot correctly is genuinely fiddly. So we do it — carefully, by hand — and hand you a device that's private from the first time it powers on.

No Google account nagging you at setup. No background telemetry. No bloatware. Just a fast, familiar phone that answers to you.

What we stand for

Privacy by default

A phone should protect you out of the box — not after hours of configuration you're not sure you got right.

Verifiable, not 'trust us'

We publish how to check your device yourself. Real security doesn't ask you to take our word for it.

Support that stays

Switching can feel daunting. We help before and after the sale, on the channels you already use.

No surveillance business model

We sell hardware and a service. We don't monetise your data, and the devices we ship don't either.

If the reasoning makes sense, the next question is usually how it works in practice.
